Damaged Hair Remedy Options. Part 4

First, consider having your split ends trimmed (by a licensed professional). Have you heard that "bad company corrupts good morals"? That's what happens with split ends.... they damage the healthy hair. Now, after proper analyzation, your hair and/or scalp may need a series of  treatments, either to reconstruct, re-moisturize, rebuild and/or stimulate circulation. Always use a large tooth comb (with no missing teeth) when combing wet or dry hair and use brushes according to your hair type on dry hair. My personal favorites are wooden combs & wooden bristle brushes. They stimulate the scalp & help eliminate static. Under your Doctors recommendations, consider exercising, a multivitamin & a proper diet that includes drinking water. Keep the chemicals and use of heat to a minimum. My favorite flat iron is a temperature controlled tourmaline ceramic. It generates extra negative ions which tends to provide more (hair) protection. Establish your own healthy hair maintenance system and stick to it. Your hair should be healthy in no time. Join me next time with updates from the American Beauty Show 2012!!
This hair (microscopic view) is in good condition. The
cuticle layer is closed and it would feel smooth to touch.
